One of the strongest IFMA social campaigns Sport Is Your Gang has truly become an instrument for changing lives in the lives of youth around the world.
The campaign impacted each of 130 member federation in IFMA and today the youth who were involved in the programme are coming back to IFMA events as accomplished athletes giving the relay to the new generation of the youth.
One of the prominent advocates of the campaign and IFMA Executive Board Member Elisa Salinas is taking the lead in South America and encompass more than 1000 youth in the various regions of Mexico. So many countries follow this bright example with Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Colombia and so many more take the youth from the streets and to the Muaythai gyms.
In Europe Ukraine, Sweden, Spain, Poland use their champions as role models for years to showcase their stories and motivate young boys and girls to do sport.
IFMA World Champion and currently the head coach of the Polish team Rafal Simonides is truly one of the biggest ambassadors of Muaythai in Poland traveling to all Polish regions with his campaigns.
The Vice President of the Spanish Muaythai Federation Gustavo Luna launched the project to empower girls through Muaythai and already gained hundreds of followers with different stories but one aim to gain confidence through Muaythai.
Countries from the Middle East open to the ideas of women in sport and it was a historical moment when IFMA Chair of the Athletes’ Commission Janice Lyn held a seminar for women in Saudi Arabia. Female teams from Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, UAE, Lebanon, and so many other Arabic countries is true evidence that sport has no boundaries and penetrates all the socialites and includes people from all walks of life, genders, religions, and races.
