IFMA Secretary General Meets Thai Sports Minister in Lausanne
An Important meeting in Lausanne took place and also the IFMA Secretary General had the chance to meet Thailand’s Sports Minister, Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Thailand’s Governor of the Sport Authority, Kongsak Yodmanee, Thailand’s IOC Member, Khunying Patama Leeswadtrakul and many others including the Vice President of the National Olympic Committee of Thailand, Charoen Wattanasin.
A special presentation was also made by SportAccord and GAISF President Raffaele Chiulli, a special presentation was made to the Governor regarding the SportAccord Convention and the Thai delegation also visited the President of the IOC, Thomas Bach.
Fruitful discussions also took place. The independence of IFMA as an organisation recognised by the IOC and GAISF but also IFMA’s close cooperation with the Kingdom of Thailand, the Motherland of muaythai from the Old Siam and the national organisations recognised by the National Olympic Committee and/or the Sport Authority of Thailand. The next important meetings will be taking place in Thailand to ensure a strict cooperation in order of the wellbeing and health of the athletes.
