The Afghanistan National Team Qualifier championships 2019 was organised successfully with the participation of 160 elite athletes male and female in 23 teams from 18 provinces and Afghan refugees in Iran.
All teams placards were carried by a bearer in traditional clothes to display cultural diversity. Afghanistan Muaythai National Federation recognises and respects diversity nationally and internationally and aims to promote tolerance, support and respect.
The national muaythai event lasted for seven days in Kabul, Afghanistan. Members of Parliament, educational institutions, and President of NOC Afghanistan appreciated the Founder & President of the NF, Amir Hussain Hussaini for his professionalism, dedication and leadership and honoured him with traditional turban. The President of NOC stated “I regard Afghanistan Muaythai Federation as the best amongst others in the country.”
Mr. Amir Hussain Hussaini, Founder & President of NF, asked all team members to take the message of “Muaythai for all” and “Sport for Peace” to their provinces. The best of each weight category has been selected to represent Afghanistan muaythai in world senior championships 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand.
